Captain Eric Dussault left for the Gulf Coast Oil Spill with Sea Tow 1 on Wednesday June 16. Captain Eric has been with Sea Tow for five years after serving four years as a navigator in the U.S. Coast Guard. Many Sea Tow Franchisees have sent captains and crew to the gulf region to assist with the oil spill cleanup efforts. Eric and crewmember Tyler Bates arrived in Theodore Alabama on the evening of June 17th. Their mission response so far has been to transport oil absorbing materials to large skimming vessels working in Mobile Bay. They will also be towing and placing boom in environmentally sensitive areas as well as providing security at several locations.
We will keep you posted.
